Parkinson’s Disease in 2019: Optimizing the Quality of Life, A Conference for Parkinson’s Disease Patients, Family and Caregivers

PDWELL recently sponsored Parkinson’s Disease in 2019: Optimizing the Quality of Life, A Conference for Parkinson’s Disease Patients, Family and Caregivers.  PDWELL had a vendor booth where we distributed information about the services PDWELL will provide in the Omaha metro community as well as gave out PDWELL Thera Band and Parkinson’s specific exercises for people to do at home.   Cheri Prince along with Georgie Kuhl lead a brief demonstration of the exercises prior to the afternoon session. The event was attended by over 850 people that included Parkinson’s patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers involved in Parkinson’s disease.
